OSTEOPATHY

Osteopaths are primary health care practitioners who recognise the important link between the structure of the body and the way it functions. The hands-on approach to health care focuses on how the musculoskeletal system, nerves, circulation and internal organs function together as a unit.

Osteopaths see a wide range of complaints, including back and neck pain, sports injuries, work injuries, pain related to pregnancy and post-partum, breathing and digestive complaints and much more.

Osteopathy can be used to safely treat people of any age, from young children through to the elderly.

PRACTITIONERS

Mandy holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Human Biology) and a Master of Osteopathy. She is a registered osteopath with the Osteopathic Council of New Zealand, is ACC registered, and provides evidence-informed osteopathic care for people of all ages.

After graduating, Mandy spent six years living and working in Sydney's Inner West at Central Sydney Osteopathy. During this time, she was part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team, working alongside osteopaths, chiropractors, women's health physiotherapists, acupuncturists, and midwives. This experience strengthened her holistic approach to patient care and reinforced the value of working collaboratively to achieve the best outcomes.

In 2020, Mandy and her young family returned to New Zealand and settled in the Matakana region. In early 2025, she relocated her practice to Point Wells, where she continues to care for patients from Point Wells, Matakana, Warkworth, Omaha, Snells Beach, and the wider Mahurangi area.
